Cake Orders - Terms and Conditions
Quotations and Ordering
Provision of a quotation does not imply that we will accept an order, the order only becomes definite when a deposit has been paid. Initial quotations are approximate, we will give a firm quote when your exact requirements are known. Quotations always include a £10 reduction assuming your order is placed by email or telephone.
Payment Conditions
A non refundable deposit of 25% minimum is taken at the time of order. The outstanding balance will be due 2 weeks prior to the wedding date.
Payment Methods
Deposits and balances due can be made by cheque, (please make cheques payable to "CakesSince1982.com" (our sister website), and post to J. Rendle, 5 Furzehatt Park Road, Plymouth PL9 8LE), or by credit/debit card on 01752 294394.
Taking Delivery of Your Cake
Cakes should be inspected on receipt to ensure that they were not damaged in transit, as you (or any third party taking delivery, e.g. hotel etc.) shall be solely responsible for any damage to any products which occurs (i) after the delivery or collection of any product and/or (ii) as a result of failure to follow any instructions/advice we may give in respect of storage or setting up or of further transportation of the cake.
Recipes
Any special recipe request such as 'no nuts' will be met wherever possible. However, no absolute nut free guarantees can be given, as some ingredients are not guaranteed nut free by the manufacturers.
